Our hair goes through a lot! Including daily extensive daily damage from heated styling to the use of some products which may actually be harsh and drying. So it is crucial to make sure that our hair-cleansing regimen replenishes both the hair and scalp and does not deplete our locks of moisture.
Sulphates, which were once present in almost all shampoo formulas, are now a matter for concern. Sulphate ingredients are increasingly being replaced in many shampoos by more mild, sulphate-free alternatives because sulphates are known to deplete the hair of natural oils (making the hair more oily!) and leave it feeling dry.
